Part 33

Reality Bites...

OK so after the last couple of blogs being of a much more serious nature I thought I would try to lighten things up a bit BUT then this Corona lark kicked in. I had been writing the blogs a couple of weeks in advance to try to keep up with things whilst attempting to guide people along my journey from childhood to authorship. So whilst the lockdown hasn’t stopped me from writing it has put many other things into perspective. I was happy for the first two or three weeks to let my pre-written blogs go out to help along with my other difficulties.

Corona, Covid 19 etc in all honesty and I don’t know what you guys are thinking, but for me it is twofold. On the one hand I have completely lost my ability to work and earn money in one of my jobs (Football coaching) and I am massively restricted in another (domestic appliance repair) but on the other hand I know have much more time to dedicate to my two prospective new careers as an actor and author. The acting has also been effected by the ability to travel and interact with casting execs etc but I am pursuing it, nonetheless. However the writing is full steam ahead.

As you are all obviously aware by now part 1 of Breaking the Tranquillity of Solitude came out in December and has been happily selling a few copies a month whilst I try to gain momentum with marketing. Part two is in the editing and cover design stages and I am 55,000 words done of a probably 90,000 for book 3 the final part of the trilogy so although the blogs are far from over with I am reaching the targets I have strived for.

What I really need now is to bring some of you guys along for the ride to promote the project and spread the word worldwide.

At this point I ask anyone who has read any of these blogs to at least go look on Amazon and check out where I’m at and give serious consideration to purchasing a copy of Breaking the Tranquillity of Solitude Part One. Not so much from a sales point of view, because trust me I earn diddly squat from sales, but for the potential for you to leave me an Amazon review after reading. So if you like paper or Kindle check it out and please, please, please leave feedback to help me further my quest to get this project the coverage I believe it deserves after 15 years of work.…
