Moving On

I'm not sure about you lot but I loved collating that info. In fact I pulled an all-nighter to do it and I am currently typing this blog at 6.08AM having not yet gone to bed…

So I’m keeping it short this time…

WHY ?

By now you, and to some small degree me too… We have probably drifted away from the Why? Why am I doing all this. Well to get back on point it is all to attempt to promote my book and the possibility of it creating a new career path for me. I am not holding my breath about the chances but taking all the knock backs and disappointments has been a thing I’ve had to do ALL my life. I haven’t had things tough compared to many so don’t get me wrong I’m not pleading poverty or bemoaning any hard luck stories, but on the other hand I certainly wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my pram.

One of the things that has fascinated me, and to some degree depresses me, is how fame breeds fame, money makes money and the such like. I don’t begrudge anyone either fame or fortune, and in all honesty I don’t crave either. What I desire is recognition for the sake of quality. Now I may not have any quality worth being recognised but how does anyone make that decision without experiencing the lack of quality I may or may not have.

There’s the quandary, how to get noticed doing something so mundane as writing a story… Some say it's luck, others would sell you a book on marketing etc. Well there it is that is the Why? For me it is part of my strategy of getting noticed. Maybe I will “get lucky” and the right person will see my work, blog or vlog maybe not but you have to be in it to win it.
